Dr. Singh,the first Vice Chancellor of Doon University, Dehradun has been awarded many international awards for outstanding contributions to food and fiber production, improved living and education.He was elected as the first President of the Asian Association for Agricultural Engineering (AAAE).At present he is the Patron of the Indian Society of Agricultural Engineers.
